How we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit our website or contact us.

Last updated: 17 September 2026

Who we are

London Audiobooks is a trading name of Fitzrovia Media Group Limited. For data protection purposes, Fitzrovia Media Group Limited is the controller of personal information collected through this website.

Our address is Academic House, 24–28 Oval Road, London NW1 7DJ. You can contact us about privacy at bookings@londonaudiobooks.co.uk.

Information we collect

We may collect the information you provide when you make an enquiry, request a quote or contact us, including your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, project details and the contents of your message.

When you use our website, we may also receive technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring source and approximate location. Optional analytics and advertising information is collected only after you give consent through our cookie banner.

How and why we use it

  • To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and take steps towards a contract.
  • To provide and administer our services and meet our contractual and legal obligations.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website where this is in our legitimate interests.
  • To measure website use through Google Analytics where you have consented.
  • To understand which organisations show interest in our services through Apollo where you have consented.
  • To measure, deliver and personalise advertising through Google Ads where you have consented.
  • To send marketing communications where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Apollo website visitor intelligence

With your analytics consent, we use Apollo's website visitor technology to understand which organisations may be visiting and which services or pages attract interest. Apollo may use a first-party cookie and process online identifiers and visit information to provide these insights.

We use this information to prioritise relevant business-to-business follow-up. The Apollo tracker does not load unless you accept analytics cookies, and you can withdraw that consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Google Analytics, Google Ads and OpenAI

With your advertising consent, we use the OpenAI Measurement Pixel to measure visits and successful enquiry submissions after advertising in ChatGPT. It may store an ad-click reference in a first-party cookie and share technical event information with OpenAI. Where automatic advanced matching is enabled, OpenAI may detect supported contact information entered in forms and hash it in the browser before sending it; raw contact information is not sent through that matching feature. We do not include your project brief in our measurement events. You can decline advertising cookies or withdraw consent through Cookie settings. Measurement is optional and does not affect your ability to enquire or book.

We will use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website. Google may process information about your device and activity to provide aggregated reports to us.

We will use Google Ads, including conversion measurement and potentially remarketing, to understand whether advertising leads to visits or enquiries and to make advertising more relevant. Google may associate information collected on this site with information from other sites or services, depending on your Google settings.

Analytics and advertising cookies are not activated unless you accept the relevant category. You can withdraw or change consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also manage advertising personalisation in your Google account.

Sharing and international transfers

We may share information with service providers who support our hosting, communications, customer management, analytics and advertising, including Google, OpenAI and Apollo, and with professional advisers or authorities where required. These suppliers may process data outside the UK. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for international transfers.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. We use appropriate organisational and technical measures designed to protect it.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to its use, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. To exercise a right, contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page with its updated date.
