Romantasy
audiobook production.
Give the romance and the imagined world equal weight.
Romantasy brings emotional intimacy together with invented places, histories and rules. We plan the voices and pronunciation reference as one production brief so listeners can follow the world while staying invested in the relationship.
For publishers, rights owners and independent authors.
Human-led production at our Camden studios.

FROM MANUSCRIPT TO MASTERED AUDIO
The right performance changes how the words are heard.
Audition both an emotionally close passage and a section of world-building. Discuss viewpoint allocation and whether the book benefits from more than one reader.
We cast to the manuscript and the creative brief, with auditions where required. Author reads, professional narrators and multi-voice productions each need a different plan. Your producer helps turn those options into a clear decision before the full recording begins.

A coherent audio edition.
Prepare the manuscript
Prepare a glossary of invented names, a character guide and the agreed pronunciation of recurring terms. Flag any continuity with an existing series.
Direct the performance
Audition both an emotionally close passage and a section of world-building. Discuss viewpoint allocation and whether the book benefits from more than one reader.
Agree a sample and carry its creative decisions through the sessions, with preparation and breaks planned around long-form performance.
Edit and proof with care
Track character and world terminology across every session. Preserve emotional development while checking that pickups fit both the scene and the established sound of the series.
The technical finish follows the agreed delivery specification, with organised files and a clear process for approval.

A proper home for long-form performance.

Romantasy audio,
with the details considered.
How are invented names agreed?
The author or nominated editor supplies or approves a pronunciation guide before recording. Spoken examples can be useful where written phonetics are ambiguous.
Can you produce the whole audiobook?
Yes. The service can cover manuscript preparation, casting, direction, recording, editing, proofing, quality control, mastering and delivery. You can also commission a defined stage. The scope and review process are agreed in your quote.
How is the price worked out?
Send the word count, manuscript status, number of readers, title count and target delivery date. Narrator fees are quoted separately. Multi-reader, full-cast and immersive work receives a tailored quote; distribution is an optional, separately quoted service.
Can the author or publisher attend remotely?
Remote direction and monitoring are available. Agree the participants, connection arrangements and review responsibilities before recording so the team can prepare the session.
Will the audiobook meet my distributor’s requirements?
Provide the intended platform or distributor specifications when you commission the work. We agree the mastering, chapter organisation and delivery requirements for your project. Production does not by itself guarantee retailer acceptance or publication.
